Deck
The result of a unique manufacturing technique, the fiberglass deck is low-maintenance mahogany or teak wood. The five pieces of mahogany finish fit perfectly into the specially-made fiberglass cavities. A mahogany or teak belt is used to finish the deck and the binnacle.

For the mahogany gloss finish, the repeated applications of sealers, lacquers and polymers on the wood are not guaranteed. This finish not only protects the wood, but it also allows the sun to deepen the warm mahogany color with time.

Binnacle
The binnacle comfortably accommodates eight to ten adults. The mahogany- or teak- finished floor and table are in perfect harmony with the deck. The layout of these elements hides the underlying technology. In addition, a large storage is provided under the benches.

Motor and electric propeller system:
The state-of-art electrical motor is totally silent, non-polluting and easily accessible. The motor cannot be raised for carefree beaching, as is the case for the Quiétude 156.

Powered by a system that combines high technology and electricity created in the U.S., the Fantail 217 has been designed to ensure dynamic and graceful navigation. Each propeller has been manually balanced to guarantee maximum performance.

Charger
This electric boat is re-charged through any electric outlet. Height to twelve hours of charging guarantee 6 to 8 hours of leisurely cruising. The boat is equipped with a battery level indicator.

Table
A storable table opens with ease.

Controls
The controls are easy to use and located within arm's reach. The steering system uses a traditional thermo-treated light aluminum tiller that is protect by a layer of cured urethane with teak sleeves. The tiller is fixed on a pole, which is equipped with a unique push-and-pull steel-cable system. When the tiller is turned one way or the other, the cable pushes or pulls the helm's operating arm. This system has the advantage of giving the boat great stability. Once the course is set, the pilot can let go of the tiller without risk of straying.

Hull
Designed by Canadian naval architect Luc St-Onge, the elegantly sleek hull meets rigorous stability criteria with minimal draught and drag.

With a displacement/length ratio of 147, this boat is classified as having an ultra-light displacement. The rounding of its hull is almost flat in some places and its Fantail style makes it stable and efficient. The hull accepts a maximum speed of 6.26 km (7.2 mph).

Canopy
The Seamark canopy not only protects from the sun and rain, but it can also be easily lowered to serve as a tarpaulin when the boat is stored or towed. Zippered roof openings on either side allow for easy in-and-out access.

Storage
Plenty of storage space has been provided under the deck and seats. A refrigerator in the front, under the deck, is offered as an optional feature.
